Delete your account & data
You can remove your SpeakSim account and every piece of personal data associated with it at any time. This page fulfills the Apple App Store and Google Play data-deletion disclosure requirement.
Option 1 — Delete in-app (fastest)
- Sign in to SpeakSim.
- Open Profile → My data.
- Scroll to Delete my account, type
DELETE, and confirm.
Your account and all associated data (sessions, XP, certificates, coach memory, preferences) are immediately removed.
Prefer to keep your account? Erase only some data
You don't have to delete your account to remove data. Sign in and open Profile → My data, then use the Erase specific data section to remove any combination of:
- Voice sessions & transcripts
- Video session metrics
- Coach memory & chat history
- Drill attempts, quizzes & spaced-repetition reviews
- Personal notes
- Certificates, badges, XP & streaks
Your account, email, subscription, and unselected categories stay intact. You can also disable the coach's long-term memory anytime from the same page. To request category-level deletion by email, use the address below and list the categories you want removed.
Option 2 — Request by email
Send an email from the address linked to your account to privacy@lakaynetwork.com with the subject "Account & data deletion request". We will process it within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email, display name, authentication identifiers).
- Voice and video sessions, transcripts, and AI feedback scores.
- XP, certificates, badges, streaks, and leaderboard entries.
- Coach long-term memory and personalization data.
- Preferences and consent records.
Data is removed from primary systems immediately (or within 30 days for email requests), and purged from encrypted backups within 90 days. Anonymous, aggregated usage counts may be retained. Invoice records are retained where required by tax and accounting law.
